Coating & Industrial Technologies (CIT) started operations in October 2004 with the aim to introduce the latest technologies into Australian made coatings. The intent was to develop coating systems that would reduce cost, time and waste for the consumer - yet we also wanted to exceed the quality and performance of any competitors current products.

CIT listened when the market asked for new technologies, we heard the cries for water based, high performance coatings and pleas’ for cost effective coating solutions.

Synchrotron Project - Major project architects, BateSmart-Melbourne approached CIT to develop and design a coating which both provides anti-graffiti protection and a special ‘purple glow effect’ when lit at night. The polycarbonate extrusion fascia panels measured 9 m in length and were imported from Germany.

Manufacturing awards recognise local success

The Minister for Manufacturing Exports and Trade, Richard Dalla-Riva, last night announced the winners of the 2012 Victorian Manufacturing Hall of Fame Awards, at a ceremony that brought together over 600 industry leaders. Minister Dalla-Riva said the awards were an important part of recognising the strength and success of Victoria’s manufacturing capabilities.
