070 ‘Pi’ Series P/P Primer (Atpro)

• Premium quality New Generation ‘OE approved’ modified primer specifically formulated for extremely high performance applications.
• Highly chemical resistant.
• Specifically formulated for use directly over: EPDM, P/P (including UV stabilized versions) PA, PA 6, UP, UP, PBT, PET & Polyester substrates.

PROPE KOTE PRIMER

• Premium quality ‘OE approved’ CPO primer specifically formulated for high performance applications.
• The product is based on new generation materials and as a consequence offers many significant advantages to the user.
• Colour range – standard range is transparent white, beige, grey, black and clear. Other variants/colours can be made to order.
• Specifically formulated for use directly over: EPDM, P/P (including UV stabilized versions) PA, PA 6, UP, UP, PBT, PET & Polyester substrates.

1K COLOUR COAT SYSTEMS

010 Alpha Base

• 1k Thermoplastic
• Available versions are 010, 011, 014, 015, 018 . These are similar technologies with slightly different resin and solvent compositions to meet specific applications and performance requirements.
• Suitable for ABS, ABS/PC, PC, rigid PVC, acrylic.
• OE approvals : – conforms to: TOYOTA - TSH 3130 G Classes 1A, 1B, 1C, 2A, & 2B. FORD – WSS M2 P188 A GMH –HN series. (this specification to be replaced for all new components as from Q1 2012 by GMW specification). Series does not conform to GMW 14445 requirement.
• Laser etchable – including metallic..
• Unlimited colours – both solids and metallic.

014 ALPHA BASE SYSTEM

• Excellent UV stability. (Colour Fastness)
• High Opacity.
• Ease of application.
• High Abrasion & Chemical Resistance.
• Suitable for application directly onto ABS, PC, PS, PVC etc
• OE Approvals (refer CIT for full performance specifications)
• Available in OE colours – or alternatively matched to your requirement

011 ALPHA BASE PC LS SYSTEM

• Excellent UV stability. (Colour Fastness)
• High Abrasion & Chemical Resistance.
• Suitable for application directly onto ABS, PC, PS, PVC etc
• OE Conformance (refer CIT for full performance specifications)
• Quality surface treatment for Polycarbonate

020 BETA BASE SYSTEM

• 1k Thermoplastic
• Available versions are 020, 022.
• Primer-less application onto PP & TPO. (PVC)
• OE approvals : – conforms to: TOYOTA – TSH 3130 G Classes 1B, 1C, 2A and 2B. FORD – WSS M2 P188 A – 022 series required for taber conformance. (Ford chemical resistance – marginal)
• Metallic’s difficult.

097 FRB Series

• A range of extremely flexible products - several variants.
• Normally used as 1K system, however has the capability of being cross-linked to increase the chemical resistance and general performance properties.
• Extremely UV stable.
• Broad colour range available solid and metallic’s.
• Currently used on sun-visors, chair armrests, seating aircraft.
• Is also being used as a specialized base coat system under 2K PU Clear Coats.
• Due to its unique solvency parameters this product may also be used as a barrier coat on solvent sensitive substrates.
• Suitable for direct application onto PVC, RIM, PU, PC, ABS, Acrylic and some composites.
• Extremely wide application profiles for all versions – stable – easy to apply.

2K COLOUR COAT SYSTEMS

030 GAMMA BASE

• ‘Highest performance’ 2K System developed for OE interiors.
• Suitable for ABS, ABS/PC, PC, rigid PVC & acrylic without primer.
• Primer required for PP, TPO, Nylon & Phenolic.
• OE approvals : – conforms to:
• TOYOTA – TSH 3130 G All Classes
• FORD – WSS M2 P188 A
• GMW – 14867 listed on MATSPC.
• GMW – 15516, GMW 15522, GMW15542(LE) & GMW15543(LE).
• MITSUBISHI MOTORS – ES-X71222 Classes PD-O,PD-1.
• Extremely wide application profile - stable– easy to apply, which results in high throughput with very low reject rates. Outperforms all opposition products with the above OE supplier companies in Australia.
• Marr resistant version –gloss as low as 1 GU @ 60° (requested by FORD)
• Unlimited colours – solids and metallic.
• Specially modified version for stainless steel available- refer miscellaneous/anti microbial (p12)

040 DELTA BASE

• CSIRO tested to OEM specifications - OE Approvals
• Outstanding Gloss Retention
• 2K Solid Colour System
• Excellent adhesion, UV stability & chemical resistance
• Easy to Use

• Available in RAL and OEM colours

061 Sigma Base

Sigma Base has been specifically formulated for application onto substrates that are traditionally difficult to coat without the application of a primer.

• 2K ‘Extremely high performance’ system developed specifically for hard to adhere to substrates.
• Suitable for direct application onto PP , TPO, Phenolic & Nylon without the need for a primer or any other pretreatment.
• OE approvals : – conforms
• TOYOTA - TSH 3130 G All Classes
• FORD – not currently painting any of these substrates for interior use in Australia – however conforms to all requirements of WSS-M2P188-A1.
• GMW – 14867 listed on MATSPC.
• GMW 15520 - the only such product worldwide approved to this performance specification not requiring any pretreatment for adhesion.
• MITSUBISHI MOTORS – ES-X71222 Classes PD-O,PD-1.
• Extremely wide application profile - stable– easy to apply, which results in high throughput with very low reject rates.
• Toyota components painted in this system for both local & export vehicles for over 3.5 years.
• Metallic’s available but difficult.

900 Soft Feel.

• A versatile 2K Soft feel system.
• Approved by Ford for air bag covers in Australia ‘all models’ Falcon & Territory
• DFB requirement 35 + micron
• Extremely UV stable.
• Suitable for direct application onto PVC, PU, ABS, and over primer for TPO and PP.
• Extremely easy to apply.
• A NEWER DEVELOPMENT VERSION HAS PASSED GMW 14445 IN TRIALS.
• CURRENTLY FURTHER DEVELOPMENT IS BEING PERFORMED TO GAIN APPROVAL AND SIGN OFF TO GMW 14867.

WATER BORNE - Soft Feel. (GMW 14445)

• Significant development work has been performed on water borne soft feel systems, and lab development batch’s have yielded significant and exciting results.
• CIT is awaiting further samples of some newer technology raw materials that in trials have delivered positive results.
• Results will be advised as available.

NuClear Series

• A range of extremely high performance modified 2K PU Clear Coats with wide application and performance capabilities.
• Systems from rigid to flexible available to cover ‘all’ requirements.
• Engineered from ground up – i.e. the flexible version contains no plasticizers or modifiers, therefore flexibility remains even after long exposure periods.
• All systems currently have over 39 months exposure at Allunga Exposure Laboratories with NO signs of degradation (full report available upon request). CONFORMANCE.
• Krystal & 4405 Series to FORD WSS-M2P180-A, exterior rigid substrates. Current application – Nylon door handles,
• 4405 Series over B/C to GMW 14867 - new GM interior colour – Silver Lustre.
• 8805 & 3305 series (ductile) approved to Ford & Toyota exterior, hubcaps, body side moldings, exterior rear view mirror housings etc.-Toyota TSH 3131G, Ford WSS-M2P181-A. These systems also conform to GMHA HN 1664 exterior specification, a B/C- C/C performance requirement.

Miscellaneous

OE SYSTEMS

• CIT have developed 3 waterborne OE type 2k Clear Coat systems all conforming to GMW 14445 - one version provides ‘extremely’ fast dry with excellent adhesion over a solvent borne base coat system – providing unique metallic colour variants.
• Validation to GMW 14867 currently being reviewed by management- no requirement or driver for these systems currently in Australia.
• 2K waterborne systems conforming to GMW 14445 – available in solid and metallic – validation to GMW 14867 proceeding.

IN MOLD COATS (IMC).

• i.1K & 2K Solvent systems.
• ii.1K water borne system

ANTI MICROBIAL SYSTEMS

• Systems with full testing and conformance to JIS Z 2801 : 2000 - test for Anti Microbial activity and efficacy are available. Effective against MRSA (Methicillin-Resistant Staphylococcus aureus, Golden Staph) and VRE (Vancomycin resistant Enteroccoccus faecium) and
• Systems provide > 99.990% reduction in bacteria.
• Independent test reports from both the Hohenstein Institute of Germany, ETH, Zurich, Switzerland and Monash University of Melbourne, Australia available.
• CIT have been able to provide this degree of effectiveness into some of our OE interior range – reports available upon request. (interest from Chrysler USA)
• Systems available for medical grade stainless steel, most plastic substrates, and in several of our approved OE clear coats.
• All systems approved and currently in production.
• Systems are not cost prohibitive – extremely affordable.
• Effective for life of coating.
• Cytotoxic level is zero – tested by B. Braun of Germany. (Report available).
